About Us – Mamy Czas Na Zdrowie

About Us

The “MAMY czas na zdrowie” social campaign was created to support working mothers, especially when they are dealing with colds or flu. The campaign highlights how challenging it is for working mothers to find time to rest when they are sick. It addresses the barriers behind this issue and, through specific tools, aims to create a more mother-friendly environment in Poland.

We have created the “MAMY czas na zdrowie” Code, a set of guidelines designed to eliminate the barriers currently faced by working mothers, leading to significant social change. We hope this will help create a more supportive environment for working mothers in Poland, especially when they are ill.

The Nationwide Sister Support Program “MAMY czas na zdrowie” provided real support for working mothers. In early 2024, a group of almost 100 locally engaged women—Campaign Ambassadors—had the opportunity to participate in workshops with Campaign Experts: Natalia de Barbaro, Jacek Wasilewski, and Paulina Janiak and Karolina Andrian from the Share The Care Foundation. During the workshops, participants learned how to better communicate their needs and gained knowledge and practical skills on how to support other working mothers. They shared this knowledge within their existing support groups. As a result, the idea of the “MAMY Czas na zdrowie” campaign spread throughout the country. The grassroots social movement of working mothers created in this way has enabled more working mothers to properly take care of themselves during a cold or flu. A closed Facebook group was also created for the Ambassadors.

Join us to help build a world where the health and well-being of working mothers are priorities. Together, we can make changes that will impact the lives of thousands of women in Poland.

The campaign partner is the Share the Care Foundation, which has been promoting equal sharing of parental responsibilities and supporting parents in balancing work and childcare for years. The foundation’s mission is to change social stereotypes about childcare and establish balance between the responsibilities of mothers and fathers. By supporting initiatives like the “MAMY czas na zdrowie” campaign, the Share the Care Foundation is helping to create an environment where both mothers and fathers have equal opportunities to participate in family life, contributing to an improved quality of life for entire families.
