Facts & Stats – Mamy Czas Na Zdrowie

Research commissioned by HALEON, the producer of Theraflu, and the Share The Care Foundation identifies three main challenges that working mothers face when trying to find time to rest during a cold or flu:

  • household responsibilities and childcare,
  • pressure at work,
  • fear of losing income.

These challenges make it difficult for working mothers to allow themselves to rest and recover when they are sick with a cold or flu.

Together, we want to change this!

That’s why the Share The Care Foundation and the Theraflu brand have joined forces to support the right of working mothers to take care of their health.

Did you know that working mothers in Poland often cannot afford to rest, even when they are sick?

Research shows that 60% of working mothers continue to carry out household duties, even though a cold or flu should prompt them to rest. Even worse, 1/3 of them feel pressure from their families, who still expect them to perform the same tasks, regardless of their health.

In such conditions, it is not surprising that 55% of working mothers feel guilty when illness interferes with their ability to care for their children. Unfortunately, the support that could help them during this difficult time is often lacking. 1/4 of working mothers receive no help with household duties, even when they are sick with a cold or flu.

Our campaign, “MAMY czas na zdrowie” aims to change this situation. We want to support working mothers in finding time to rest and recover when they are ill. .
